[edit] Summary

Description

Long-time secondary logo of CBS, minted in 1971 and designed by William Golden. The eye symbol used in this logo is based upon an 1850s Quaker design of the all seeing eye, it was first unveiled in October 1951 with no accompanying copyright. No copyright was ever filed, so that particular aspect of the image qualifies it for public domain. However, this image may still be subject to trademark restrictions.
