• After ceasing publication in 1939, Stage magazine resumed in October 1940, published by the Ince Publishing Company of New York. The December 1940 issue is Volume 1 Number 2, which does not appear in copyright registrations for 1940.

• No copyright renewal appears in 1967 or 1968 or 1969.
