Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde am 18. Oktober 1927 vom bayerischen Staatsministerium des Innern verliehen. Das Rad erinnert an die Bolandener und der Adler an die Leininger, beides ehemalige Ortsherren. Der Fuchs verweist redend auf den Ursprung des Ortsnamens, der sich von Fuchs-Gönheim ableitet.
English: The arms were granted on October 18, 1927. The wheel is derived from the arms of the Lords of Bolanden, the eagle is derived from the arms of the Counts of Leiningen, both former rulers of the municipality. The fox is a canting symbol for the old name of the village, Fuchs-Gönheim. |
