Description
English: The landmark, former headquarters of Farmers and Mechanics National Bank, located at 1201 Wisconsin Avenue, N.W. (intersection of M Street and Wisconsin Avenue), in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Designed by architects Marshall and Peter in 1922, the neoclassical building is a contributing property to the Georgetown Historic District, a National Historic Landmark. The building currently serves as a branch for PNC Bank, following the dissolution of the site's previous owner, Riggs Bank.
