Summary

Description
English: A Grumman F9F-7 Cougar (BuNo 130763) in the Cradle of Aviation Museum. The Grumman F9F/F-9 Cougar was an aircraft carrier-based fighter aircraft for the United States Navy. Based on the earlier Grumman F9F Panther, the Cougar replaced the Panther's straight wing with a more modern swept wing.
Nederlands: Grumman F9F-7 Cougar in het Cradle of Aviation Museum. De Grumman F9F Cougar was een vliegtuig dat opereerde vanop vliegdekschepen. Het was gebaseerd op de F9F Panther, maar had in tegenstelling tot de Panther achterwaarts gerichte vleugels.
