Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) She was a pioneer not only in the subject of Post Surrealism, and invention by herself and husband Lorser Feitelson, but also of the west coast Hard Edge painters. Several painters from Southern California in the 1950's and 1960's turned to this form of expressionism. Since then, much of our modern design and sensibilities about abstract art are in debt to them. This painting is a prime example of this style.
