English: This example of a common hen-house in Kfar Yehoshua, Israel, has its roof made of asbestos. Large and small pieces of asbestos cover the ground near it, including very small ones that were grinned to dust by human feet or moving vehicles. Asbestos is now forbidden for use in the western world, due to its link to several forms of cancer in addition to lung cancer. See for example Bunderson-Schelvan, Melisa et al.: "Nonpulmonary Outcomes of Asbestos Exposure", Journal of Toxicology and Environmental Health, Vol. 14 (2011) Part B, pp. 122–152.
