Italiano: Milano. Il sepolcro di Azzone Visconti nell'abside di San Gottardo in Corte (l'antica cappella del palazzo dei Duchi di Milano) è opera di Giovanni di Balduccio e aiuti. Sulla fronte, bassorilievo che rappresenta la Investitura di Azzone Visconti a vicario imperiale da parte di Ludovico il Bavaro. La tomba fu smantellata in epoca neoclassica, e l'aspetto attuale è dovuto a una ricomposizione moderna, nella quale non è stato purtroppo possibile recuperare tutti i pezzi presenti in origine. English: Milan. Azzone Visconti's grave in the church of San Gottardo in Corte (formerly the chapel of the Palace of the Dukes of Milan), was sculpted by Giovanni di Balduccio and his workshop. The relief on it shows Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian investing Azzone Visconti as imperial vicar. The monument was dismantled during the neoclassical reconstruction of the church, and rebuilt in modern times in the way we can see it now; however several parts of it had been meanwhile lost.
