TheBaillie Guard situated on the lowerground below the hospital, was partlyused as a store-room, partly as thetreasury and office, and partly asbarracks for the Sepoys, who gar-risoned it under Lieutenant Aitken.In the southern angle of the guardwas a concave shaped guard-house,removed after 1857.
