Français : “Badaioz, Ville Forte et Evêché de la Provice d’Estremadure Castillane, située en partie sur un Rocher, sur le Bord de la Guadiane a 3 lieües d’Elvas. Elle fut attaquée en 1658 par les Portugais, Commandez par Iean Mandez de Vasconcelos, et securue par Don Loüis d’Haro le 12e septembre de la même année.”
