Summary

Description
English: Memorial Gardens Helmshore The Memorial Gardens and the clock tower were given to the village by local mill owners the Porritt family in 1921.

Standing 40ft high the clock tower ,which officially openend in June 1922, cost £2,320 when built. A plaque bearing the names of the 53 local men who died during World War One is at the base of the clock tower.
