[edit] Summary

Description
English: Coat of Arms of Mexico. It's design was inspired by an Aztec legend regarding the founding of Tenochtitlan. In the legend, the Aztecs established in in Mesoamerica when, as commanded by their god Huitzilopochtli, they found an eagle devouring a snake, perched atop a cactus that grew on a rock submerged in a lake.
