Summary

Description
English: Analysis of C. elegans body length when hyperpolarizing body wall muscle cells using Mac. We challenged animals expressing Mac in body wall muscle cells (ZX936: lite-1(ce314); zxEx629[Pmyo-3::Mac::GFP; Pelt-2::mCherry]) with 10 yellow-green (0.96 mW/mm2, 540–580 nm) light pulses of 1.5 s using whole-field illumination, with an interstimulus interval (ISI) of 1.5 s and calculated the percentage of length increase by automated video analysis. Related to Figure 1.
