На представленном изображении молекулы нандролона (19-нандролон 17 бета деканоат)не показан радикал в положении 17, а он определяет важное свойство препарата--пролонгированный эффект. Имея самый длинный радикал в этом положении, нандролон связывается с липидами подкожно-жировой клетчатки и образует депо. Именное поэтому клинический эффект от введения 50 мг длится 1-2 месяца, а следы применения обнаруживаются в крови в течении года.
