National Football League logo used from 1970 to 2008. As of September 2008, the logo was still used only in the Madden NFL series.

Though this image is subject to copyright, I feel its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  • The image is only being used for informational purposes.
  • The image adds significantly to the National Football League article because it is used to identify the subject of the article.
  • No free equivalent is available or could be created since this is a copyrighted logo.
