Summary[edit]

Description
English: A Griffon 2000TDX Mk II hovercraft, with engine on and flexible skirt inflated. The hovercraft, Christina, was built in 2000 for the Lithuanian State Border Police (Pasienio Policija), which had been established in 1996 to serve as a form of Coast Guard (Pakrančių Apsauga). The photograph was taken at Nida, on the Curonian Spit; the body of water in the background is the Curonian Lagoon.
