中文（繁體）：復字第二十五號 設計：姜大中 紅色象徵革命與鬥爭；白色象徵光明與和平；星齒輪與稻穗代表共產黨之領導與人民解放軍。齒輪代表工，兩邊的穗代表農，也表示政權特徵以工農為基礎。齒輪八齒代表八小時的意思，稻穗31個象徵中國31個行政單位（省或自治區），稻穗齒輪與星之圖形如自由飛翔在天空之鷹象徵中國人民之自由。
