The full image includes the steamers Ramona, Gypsy and Ruth. The source gives this photograph as circa 1890, but this cannot be correct, as Ruth was not launched until 1895. Gypsy was out of service in 1900. The entire image also includes the sternwheeler Ramona, which was built in 1892 and transferred to the Stikine River in British Columbia in 1898. This allows the time for this image to be bracketed between 1895 and 1898. |
