One version of a "planetary"-based symbol of sex (the sexes), using dimmed versions of the old "alchemical" colors (Mars=iron=rust=red and Venus=copper=patina=green), offered as an alternative to en:Image:Unity XX-XY.JPG . For alternative variants, see Image:Sexes-planetary-sym.svg and Image:Sexes-planetary-sym-pinkblue.svg , or (with slightly different symbolism) Image:HeteroSym.svg , Image:HeteroSym-pinkblue.svg , and Image:HeteroSym-pinkblue2.svg.
