"After losing all hope and being totally dejected by not spotting a single leopard for 3 days, I decided to leave the forest reserve. Just before the outskirts of the jungle, while staring mindlessly towards the wilderness, I got a shock: a leopard laying on the branch of the tree. My disappointment was soon replaced by insuppressible glee as I was able to witness a Sri Lankan leopard (Panthera pardus kotiya) in its natural habitat and the leopard's cute antics during the rain at Lunugamwehera National Park – Sri Lanka."
