"St-POL-de-LEON", Comité des Étudiants Américains de l'École des Beaux-Arts Paris post card numbered 17712, by the artist H. Abraham(?); WWI postcard art. An impressionist landscape of a village scene in Saint-Pol-de-Léon, with the spire of the Chapelle Notre-Dame du Kreisker as the central focus; miniature painting, oils(?). Painted on a standard, printed 'The Comité des Étudiants Américains de l'École des Beaux-Arts Paris guarantee the authenticity of this post card', post-card blank. Signed 'HABRAHAM' on front; full front caption reads 'St-POL-de-LEON - 25 nov.1916 . HABRAHAM'; back with only the handwritten number '17712' added (@ bottom centre) to the standard printed design & text. 1916-11-25. Help in identifying the artist would be appreciated. Wittig collection, item 38; private collection, fam. Wittig et cie.

Created during WWI, therefore obviously pre-1923; uploaded here to avoid Commons' "dual jurisdiction" PD rule.
