English: This is a photo of Charles I. D. Looff's carousel which was the first amusement ride to be installed at Coney Island.

My family has been in the amusement business since my great-grandfather, Charles I. D. Looff began manufacturing carousels in 1876. Various members of my family have owned amusement parks at various locations around the country.
