This screenshot shows visual elements of various free software running on the Ubuntu operating system. Ubuntu runs only free software components by default (see Ubuntu Licensing). All shown software (Unity user interface and Unity Control Center) are licensed under GNU GPL or GNU LGPL. The Unity launcher contains an icon with Mozilla Firefox 2013 logo.

The licensing of this derivative work of "copyleft" licensed images may be incompatible. This may be for one of the following reasons or similar:

  • Many copyleft licenses are incompatible with each other.
