Description
English: Watercolour by Richard Howard Penton (also known professionally as Howard Penton) 1882 -1960. A founder member of the Wapping Group of artists founded in 1946 which still actively exists, observing and Painting the river Thames. This watercolour dated about 1949 shows the Pamir, a German sail training ship, leaving Wapping in London.
