Fine TV is the fourth Pay TV station in Malaysia. It was launched on December 28, 2005 and follows a TV On-Demand model and also has PPV channels. With Fine TV, one can rewind, play, forward, and even pause the program.
FINE TV is incorporated by Network Guidance Sdn Bhd, one of the subsidiary of Eurofine Sdn Bhd.
The idea to create a broadband based pay-per-view TV channel came about in 1995. Back then however, the idea of broadband TV wasn't a popular one.
The test cycle of Fine TV was conducted by Telekom Malaysia, who were initially skeptical of the idea. The cycle was held in areas surrounding Subang Jaya and Kelana Jaya and was completed in 2003. Fine TV was then launched in 2005.
