The Fire-tufted Barbet (Psilopogon pyrolophus) is a species of bird in the Ramphastidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Psilopogon.[citation needed]
It is found in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
