Flat Out, Flat Broke: Formula 1 the Hard Way! is the autobiography of retired racing driver, Perry McCarthy.
This book goes through his career, and the hardships he faced while trying to break the ranks of Formula One.
In the second edition of this book, Perry reveals that he was The Stig. As published in some tabloids, Perry was not sacked for this revelation, the second edition of the book was published 3 months after he left the show.
