Flying Dutchman World Championships

The Flying Dutchman World Championships are international sailing regattas in the Flying Dutchman class organized by the International Sailing Federation and the International Flying Dutchman Class Association.[1]

Most titles have András Domokos and Szabolcz Majthényi won, with nine titles.

The most championships has been won by Danish sailors, eleven editions, followed by Hungarian sailors, nine titles, and sailors of West Germany (eight).

Flying Dutchman was an Olympic class from 1960 to 1992.

The first Flying Dutchman World Championships were held in Starnberger See in 1956.
