"For a While" is New Zealand band Stellar*'s 12th single, and their second single from their third album Something Like Strangers. This song features Andy Lovegrove of fellow New Zealand band Breaks Co-Op. The single was released solely to the Digirama digital music store as was their previous single Whiplash. "For a While" was released roughly a month and a half before the release of "Something Like Strangers".

The music video for this song features Boh Runga. She is shown drawn in a re-animated style and walking in London alongside Andy Lovegrove. At one point in the video a meteor shower is seen to rain down on London.
