Patch used by the Ninth battalion of the Croatian Defence Forces. The battalion was named after Rafael Boban, the fascist Ustaše general who commanded the infamous Black Legion.
Za dom spremni! is a Croatian salute that is literally translated "For homeland - ready!". It dates from the mid-19th century.[citation needed] It became infamous during World War II due to its use by the fascist Ustaše movement as their equivalent of the Nazi Sieg Heil.
This salute is official slogan of the Croatian Party of Rights of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
