The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is currently recognized only by other states with limited recognition: Abkhazia,[1] South Ossetia[1] and Transnistria.[1][2][dead link]
The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is member of one international organization: the Community for Democracy and Human Rights also commonly known as Commonwealth of Unrecognized States, or rarely as CIS-2 (Содружество непризнанных государств, СНГ-2).

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Of Nagorno Karabakh Republic is based in Stepanakert. The Minister is Georgy Petrosian.

The Nagorno-Karabakh Republic operates five permanent Missions and one Bureau of Social-Politic Information in France. The goals of the offices are to present the Republic's positions on various issues, provide information and to facilitate the peace process. The NKR missions are organizing visits for Nagorno Karabakh officials abroad.
