Forenoon is the time of day from 1:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
The term should not be confused with "fore noon" (two separate words), which is a translation of the Latin "ante meridiem" (a.m.) as used in the 12-hour clock, meaning a time of day from midnight to noon.
