Forumosa.com is a discussion forum started in 1998 as ORIENTED.org.[1] The community of regular visitors grew as it changed names twice[2] (in 2002 to segue.com.tw and then in 2003 to forumosa.com).
It is primarily a phpBB-based discussion forum. For 6 months, it published a magazine about life in Taiwan in English called Taiwanease, but the magazine is no longer being published.
Primarily a discussion forum in English, the website is moderated by over 25 volunteers from different countries, including Taiwan, the US, Canada, the UK, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. It also has a German-language forum in conjunction with Deutschland.TW and a private Women's Only forum.[3]
