Forza Rossa Racing, commonly known as Forza Rossa (from ItalianForza Rossa meaning "Red Force") and sometimes abbreviated to FRR, is a Romanian-owned motor racing team with ambitions to race in the Formula One World Drivers' Championship within two years.[N 1] The team is expected to make its debut in the 2015 or the 2016 Formula One season. The entire project will be privately funded.
^The Forza Rossa entry is recognised by the FIA as a Romanian team; however, the team name is written in Italian, rather than Romanian language, as its name is derived from its parent company, Forza Rossa, a Bucharest-based importer of road cars.
Although World Championship races held in 1952 and 1953 were run to Formula Two regulations, constructors who only participated during this period are included herein to maintain Championship continuity. Constructors whose only participation in the World Championship was in the Indianapolis 500 races between 1950 and 1960 are not listed.
