Forza Rossa Racing, commonly known as Forza Rossa (from Italian Forza Rossa meaning "Red Force") and sometimes abbreviated to FRR, is a Romanian-owned motor racing team with ambitions to race in the Formula One World Drivers' Championship within two years.[N 1] The team is expected to make its debut in the 2015 or the 2016 Formula One season.[1] The entire project will be privately funded.[2][3]

Footnotes[edit]

  1. ^ The Forza Rossa entry is recognised by the FIA as a Romanian team; however, the team name is written in Italian, rather than Romanian language, as its name is derived from its parent company, Forza Rossa, a Bucharest-based importer of road cars.
