Fox Deportes (formerly Fox Sports en Español) is a cable television network dedicated to broadcasting sports-related programming 24 hours a day in Spanish. Fox Deportes is a joint venture between News Corporation and Fox Pan American Sports LLC (an international sports programming and production entity); featuring soccer, baseball, combat sports, auto-racing, among other sporting events from both the US and Latin America. The channel relaunched with its new name on October 1, 2010.[1]

The network is a home to a host of both domestic and international soccer including UEFA Champions League, Copa Santander Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, Barclay's Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup, Serie A and Major League Soccer

The network also serves as the Spanish-language home to Major League Baseball, including the MLB All-Star Game, American and National Championship League Series and World Series.

On October 9, 2010 Fox Deportes picked up Spanish language rights to Formula One coverage, a contract which runs though 2012.[2]

Fox Deportes will start covering Ultimate Fighting Championship on November 12 , 2011 showing the prelims for UFC on Fox: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos it will air the Guida/Henderson and Poirer/Garza fights. Dana White announced that the winner of the Clay Guida/Ben Henderson match will get the next title shot at Frankie Edgar [3]

Cronica Fox - This news show, broadcast nightly from Mexico City, covers sporting events from around the world. Its current hosts are Pablo Alsina, Mara Almada and Rebecca Zebrekos.
Fútbol Sin Codigos - This new program focuses on Mexican soccer and the Mexican National Team. Among other things discussed are the UEFA Champions League, the Barclay's Premier League and other leagues that Latino players play in. Its current host is Alejandro Blanco with Antonio Vals filling in occasionally and in the table of a roundtable discussion featuring Daniel Brailovsky, Luis Omar Tapia, and Bonifacio Nuñez who was a former referee in the Mexican Primera division.
