Framingham is an MBTA commuter rail and Amtrak station serving the town of Framingham, Massachusetts. The station is a well-patronized stop and former terminus on the Framingham/Worcester Line, served by 21 weekday round trips to South Station, Boston. Additionally, it is the first stop west of Boston on Amtrak's Lake Shore Limited Boston section, which provides daily service between Boston and Albany, New York with connections for Chicago's Union Station.
Framingham is a wheelchair-accessible station. It serves as a replacement for the former Boston and Albany Railroad station, which is nearby and is now a restaurant.
