[edit] Recent

As was commonplace over the course of his life, Pollara has been receiving a consistent flow of recognitions including the Cannes Lions Awards, Student Academy Awards, College Television Emmy, Addy Awards, and a Clio. Pollara recently returned from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where he spent a month working for Rede Globo, a Latin American broadcast company.[7] He worked as a production coordinator translating Arabic and learning Portuguese during their travels through the Middle East. Over the span of a month Pollara continually switched rolls from camera consultant and still photographer to the production coordinator as they moved through the six countries Israel, Jordan, France, Italy, London and Brazil. In the countries where he spoke the language fluently, Jordan and Italy, Pollara maintained his responsibility as a producer while in the other countries he worked beside Affonso Beato, ASC a prior professor and mentor.

Currently, Pollara is operating Ladeson, his start up production company in Burbank, Ca. The company has experienced significant expansion and progress over the past two years. Described as a well regarded production company comprised by a team of talented artists and creative minds, Ladeson has been steadily rising above the rest and developing a presence.[8] The majority of this company is operated and managed by highly experienced and professional students ranging in age from 20 to 28.[9]
