The Fresno Flight is an expansion team who plays in the American Basketball Association. Based in Fresno, California, they began play in the 2012-13 ABA season. As of 23 December, 2012, their current record is 4-3 and are ranked 18th out of 32 teams in the league's top 32 rankings.[1] The previous ABA team to be located in Fresno was the Fresno Heatwave, which played in the 2003-04, 2004-05 and 2005-06 ABA seasons before moving to Sacramento.

Former Fresno State Bulldogs men's basketball assisstant Sherman Homes as to serve as the Flight's head coach. However, Dominick Young has since taken over as head coach and Holmes is now the tam's assistant.[2]
