Fuefuki (笛吹市 Fuefuki-shi) is a city located in Yamanashi, Japan.
The city was founded on October 12, 2004 from the merger of six towns and villages from Higashiyatsushiro and Higashiyamanashi Districts.
The city abosorbed the village of Ashigawa on August 1, 2006. With this merger, Higashiyatsushiro District was dissolved.

- October 12, 2004 - The city was founded when the municipalities of Isawa, Misaka, Ichinomiya, Yatsushiro, Sakaigawa from Higashiyatsushiro District and the town of Kasugai from Higashiyamanashi District merged.
- The name refers to the Fuefuki River that flows through the city. The city hall is located at the former Isawa Town Hall, and other former towns and village halls were converted to satellite offices.
- August 1, 2006 - Absorbed the village of Ashigawa from Higashiyatsushiro District.
