- March 2006: On March 31, 2006 Fujitsu Consulting acquired North America based company Rapidigm. In India it has offshore divisions at Noida, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore with Pune being the head office. This is being known as Fujitsu Consulting India Pvt Limited
Presence in India [edit]
- After starting operations in 2006, Fujitsu Consulting India launched its second $10 million development center at Noida in October 2007[4]
- Following the expansion plan, Fujitsu Consulting India launched the fourth development center in Bengaluru In Nov 2011.[5]
Appraised for CMMI Level 5 for Services [edit]
Fujitsu Consulting India was appraised at Level 5 of the SEI's Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (Version 1.3). Post this appraisal, Fujitsu Consulting India became the first organization in India and second in the world to be appraised for CMMI-SVC v1.3 Level 5. Developed by Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of Carnegie Mellon University, USA, CMMI Maturity Level 5 is the highest level of process maturity that independently verifies an organization's capabilities to continuously enhance its processes through incremental and innovative process and technological improvements.[6]

Fujitsu Consulting India uses a blended-delivery model where its resources work onsite and offshore to deliver projects globally. FCI’s Business Development Group (BDG) is the single point of contact for its global customers and operates in Continental Europe, Nordics, UK & Ireland and APAC. In addition Fujitsu Consulting India also has India & Middle East Sales team that deals with customers in India, Middle East and Africa.
