Full service is a term that has many different uses. In general, the term implies that customers will receive the most attentive service or have access to the greatest number of services commonly offered.

A full service engineering firm indicates that all engineering disciplines and staff required to construct a building or complete a building project are housed within the same company. The included disciplines are: Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Plumbing Engineering.

A full service restaurant is one where waiters take food orders from customers seated at tables and bring food and beverages directly to the customer's table.

Full availability of requisite standardized industry amenities not limited to, but including the following: on-premise restaurants, room service, business center, concierge, fitness center, banquet halls, various room type selection (suites, etc.)

A full service car wash indicates that in addition to simple washing your vehicle, the attendants will wash the interior glass, vacuum the interior and clean the seats.

A full service vehicle filling station indicates that besides pumping fuel, the attendant will also offer to wash a customer's windshield and check vehicle fluid levels. While obsolete in many places, "full service" is legally mandated in the U.S. state of New Jersey. In Oregon, filling stations are required to provide the "minimum service" of pumping gas for customers, although "full service" is not required.

A full service rest area is one that offers a gas station, food, rest rooms and other amenities for travelers.

A full service radio format consists of a mixture of news, music and talk shows, aimed toward a wide audience.

"Full service" is also a codeword which may used by a massage parlour or outcall service to indicate that workers will offer sexual activity for payment (prostitution).
