Góntia /ˈɡɒntiə/, also known as Guntia, was a Celtic goddess. Her name may be etymologically related to the Celtic word condate ("confluence"). She may have been the tutelary deity of the river Günz, which is near Günzburg in Germany. She also appears to be connected with the Belgian city Ghent.[1]
