[edit] Types of Products

GFI provides software security solutions to small and medium enterprises in 3 categories:

[edit] Archiving & Fax solutions

  • GFI FAXmaker[1] route faxes directly to the user’s mailbox with DID, MSN & Line routing. It integrates with Exchange Server, Lotus Notes and popular SMTP servers, allowing users to send and receive faxes and SMS/text messages directly from their email client. It has won the Windows IT Pro Magazine Readers’ Choice Award for 3 years running.
  • GFI MailArchiver[2] for Exchange enables corporations to archive all internal and external email into one or multiple databases, heavily reducing reliance on .pst files. Users can retrieve past emails through a OneClick Restore process via a web-based search interface. It also aids organisations to meet the requirements of email retention policies and fulfil regulatory email storage requirements such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

[edit] Networking & Security solutions

  • GFI LANguard[6] scans, detects, assesses and remediates any security vulnerabilities of a network. With a single console and extensive reporting functionality, it can deal with the three pillars of vulnerability management, namely: network and port scanning, patch management and network auditing.
  • GFI EventsManager[7] monitor and log network users habits to meet the objectives of:
    • Information system and network security [8]
    • System health monitoring [9]
    • Legal and regulatory compliance (SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA) [10]
    • Forensic investigations [11]
  • GFI EndpointSecurity[12] controls network access of portable storage devices and drives, such as USB drives, iPods and PDAs to prevent identity theft and the threat of employees either introducing viruses, Trojans, illegal software to the network or copying confidential company information.
  • GFI Network Server Monitor[13] scans the network for failures or irregularities automatically. It can identify issues and fix unexpected network conditions before users (or managers) report them to network administrators.
