Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) is the first private university in Andhra Pradesh, India. It was previously known as GITAM college. Established in 1980, it was conferred the status of deemed university in 2007.[1][2]

GITAM University offers courses in the fields of Science, Engineering, Business, Architecture and Pharmacy at undergraduate, post-graduate and diploma level.[3] The university has two campuses - its main campus at Visakhapatnam, and an off campus at Hyderabad.
