Gaby Brown is an Australian radio presenter,born in Sydney in February 1976, best known for her work on the national youth broadcaster triple j. She started at the station in 1999, presenting a variety of programs including popular chart show The Net 50, and talk-back program "The Chat Room".
Gaby most currently presented the weekday breakfast shift over the 2009/2010 summer period. Gaby regularly fills in for the brekky team of Robbie Buck, Marieke Hardy and the Doctor whenever they go on holidays. She is known for her warm, intelligent style and sense of humour.[citation needed] In the past Gaby could most often be heard on the weekends, presenting either weekend breakfast, weekend lunch or weekend arvos. Brown finished at triple j on Friday 8 January 2010.
She has presented talk-back on ABC Local Radio, and mentored students at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School.
Gaby is also an accomplished commercial voice-over artist. Her voice can be heard on many campaigns across television, radio and film.
Gaby's interests include writing, body-boarding, singing and the natural environment. She is a member of an award winning soul choir, and is a former National Ambassador for the Australian Republican Movement.[1]
