Ganayogi Panchakshari Gavayi is a musical film directed by Chindodi Bangaresh. The award-winning music was scored by Hamsalekha. SP Balasubrahmaniam received a first time National award for a Kannada song.
The film starred Girish Karnad and Lokesh as a Ganayogi Panchakshari Gawai. It was based on the real life of Shri Panchakshari Gawai who was born blind but made a great difference to the life of many blind people in Indian society.
