Geared is a game for the iPhone/iPod Touch developed by Bryan Mitchell.[1] A free 'lite' version of the game is also available.[2]
[edit] Gameplay
In Geared, each level presents a rotating yellow gear and one or more blue gears. The player can place additional gears in the board to connect the blue gears to the yellow gear. When all of the blue gears are turning, the player progresses to the next level. The gears to be added come in 5 different sizes, and each level offers a limited set of gears to work with. To add a gear, the player drags it to a spot on the board. ″Gravity″ draws the new gear toward the bottom of the screen if it is not supported by a gear already on the board. On some levels, parts of the board are covered in red stripes. The game will not let the player release a gear when its center is in a striped zone. A gear placed above a striped zone can still fall into or through the zone. On some levels, the striped zones can be shifted on the board.
There are 200 levels in the current release.
Geared is now also available in the Android Market for Android phones here
