Genji Tsūshin Agedama (ゲンジ通信あげだま?) is a Japanese anime television series produced by Nihon Ad Systems and Studio Gallop. The show itself is a parody of other popular anime of its kind. In 1991 it was made into a side-scrolling action video game by NEC Home Electronics and released on the PC Engine.

Plot[edit]

Agedama is a small boy going to elementary school and enduring the struggles of a boy of his age. He ends up becoming a superhero-in-training (called "Agedaman"). Along with Wapuro, his floating computer companion, he fights against a criminal organization who can turn humans into monsters of various types.
