The National Geology Museum is hosted by the building built in 1906 for the Geological Institute of Romania. The building was designed by the Victor Ştefănescu using the neo-Brâncovenesc style, and was declared an architectural monument. The museum hosts a collection of 80,000 samples of rocks, fossils, and minerals from Romania.
