George Martin Lamb (born 20th December 1979, Dundee, Scotland) is a Scottish radio presenter, television presenter and producer.

Lamb, with Marc Hughes, hosts the BBC 6 Music mid-morning radio show. The show won the Sony DAB ‘Rising Star’ Award at the 2008 Sony Radio Academy Awards[1].

His 6 Music show mixes banter, interviews and listener-led discussions with an eclectic mix of music, much of which is 'Old Skool' dance, hip hop and northern soul.

Lamb hosts E4's music show, Freshly Squeezed. Lamb, along with Zezi Ifore, replaced Dermot O'Leary as the host of Big Brother's Little Brother when it returned on 6 June 2008[2] which he eventually took over after his co-host received poor reviews.

He also co-presents the ITV2 show The Fashion Show, with models Abigail Clancy and Michelle de Swarte.[3]

In 2007, he replaced Alex Zane as the host of the second series of BBC reality Celebrity Scissorhands and returned in 2008 for the third series.

George, in 2009, also presented both Make My Body Younger and Can I Get High Legally?.

He managed the band Audio Bullys and also the pop singer Lily Allen whom he met in Ibiza.[4]

Lamb's 6 Music show has proved controversial, provoking rival anti- [5] and pro- [6] petitions and both unfavourable[7] and favourable [8] reviews.

In May 2008 Lamb was reprimanded for appearing to pledge his support on air for Boris Johnson in the London mayoral race.[9]

Lamb is the son of actor Larry Lamb[10]. His mother is an entrepreneur.[11] He supports Dundee United.[12] and Fulham F.C.[13]
